The main thing I will take away from presenting this week was the idea of using 360 video in our project in some way. As I discussed in my during my presentation, I doubt many groups if any have had this idea and it could definitely set us apart from the pack. The cinematography was absolutely stunning in the website I chose as well. If our group can somehow get something even close to what I showed, it will be very appealing. In order to have an effective storytelling project, you have to be able to attract people and keep them there throughout, so we will have to ensure our media is as stupendous as possible.
The main problem we encountered, along with the rest of the class, was the coronavirus for obvious reasons. The cancellation of in person classes will make it very difficult to get our project done on the timeline we wanted. However, we have already started collaborating on how we can make this go smoothly. 3 of our group members live in Lincoln, and so we will be tasked with capturing most of the media. The out of town members will have to put in work on the website itself in order to be able to contribute.
