For our group to be successful in capturing the media we need, there will a few important factors. The first one is getting in a routine of being over prepared. Because our project will have us capturing media in a variety of different locations and settings, we’re going to need a variety of equipment to get the shots we need at any place we might find ourselves. That being said, it will be very important that we ensure we have anything we could possibly need to gather content. That will allow us to adapt to the situation we are in and collect quality media. Another important factor in capturing the media we need will be planning. Having a plan of what shot(s) we are going to get in what location, etc., will give us the ability to know what equipment we will need in advance, allowing us to be as efficient as possible. For example, if we know we are going to go shoot B-roll in the east campus golf simulator tomorrow, we know we need to plan for a darker setting.
This week, our group worked diligently in class to put together a team schedule that will give us deadlines that we need to meet throughout the semester. By having and following that schedule, we will stay on top of all of the different elements of our project, and make sure we don’t ever fall behind.
