Creating a good, detailed and thorough schedule will be vital to completing our project, and completing it well. Just as important, however, will be making a point to follow the schedule and abide by what we lay out in it. I’m really looking forward to getting to work on our project. I think we have a really unique project idea that we can accomplish using a lot of different angles and strategies. Our biggest challenge, however, will be weather. Because our project is learning how to play/getting better at golf, and golf is a largely outdoor sport, weather will be huge for us. Thankfully, there is a lot we can do for which we don’t need to be outside. Due to resources like the East Campus Rec Golf Simulator, we can get a lot done before we actually have to go outside.
This week, as a group, we worked to put together a presentation that would show the class and other J School staff our project ideas. Additionally, we presented the project, and talked further about the possibilities for our project ideas, and the different angles we can take with it. Hopefully in the near future, we can get a warm day and get to work outside!
